I promised a few Halloween pics of the kids.
As you can see, Bear was a princess and Jack was a pea pod. I had to go to numerous stores looking for a princess hat for Bear and finally settled on the one she is wearing. I found it at a local party store. Not great but it got the job done. I found a pretty easy pattern of one to make but of course I waited until the last minute AND JoAnn's was swamped with all the other people buying materials to make last-minute Halloween costumes. So I bailed and settled for the lame hat from Party Central.
As for Jack, I picked up his costume last year after Halloween from Target. I was only a few months pregnant at the time and after I bought the costume I immediately became paranoid thinking that I was jinxing the pregnancy. Anyway, it all worked out and doesn't Jack look great? He was such a trooper although he basically slept the entire time they were trick-or-treating. Ned took the kids and I stayed home to hand out candy. They only went to the houses on our street but it still took over an hour. I would have to say they came home with a pretty good haul. Especially given the fact that Jack filled up his bag and he doesn't eat anything but baby food and milk. Go Greenbrier Circle!
Off to bed as the day will start early tomorrow and Jack will probably be up before 2am.
Love,
Allie
