What I'm up against

NOTE: If you are my mother-in-law, you may not want to read the text of this post. Instead, please look at the pictures only.

So this morning, I mention to Ned that I started a blog yesterday. Here are his various responses over the course of the next hour or so before he heads out to work.

1. "Oh Braden (Ned's assistant coach) said that Mary (Braden's wife) has a blog and she updates it faithfully everyday." Subtext here is that I won't do nearly as good a job as Mary at updating or keeping up my blog. No doubt this is true but does that have to be the first thing he says?

2. As he's looking at the blog and reading the prior post where I write "First and most importantly, my kids (more about them later)", he complains "Don't you mean OUR kids?" My response: "It's MY blog." He gets so upset everytime I don't refer to the kids in the plural possessive. Does anybody else have this trouble?

3. In response to "It's My Blog" (see #2 above), he says "but I want to write on the blog too." I decided to let that one go. He is more than welcome to post. I'm just not expecting a lot of posting from him... unless of course he somehow learns to do it via text messaging from his cell phone.

Anyway, enough about that. I will go ahead and post this one so I can begin one that my mother-in-law will be able to read should she be so inclined.

Love,
Allie
