6:00 am -- I wake up and get ready to go to the store to pick up stuff for the tailgate. First to Panera Bread for bagels. Next to Wal-Mart for drinks, donuts, face tattoos, ice, etc.
7:55 am -- I return from the store and unload the car. Ned is playing Wii with his friend Catty Man and Bear and Zoe (Catt's daughter).
8:00 am -- I tell Ned he needs to pack the cooler. The girls and I start baking cookies.
8:15 am -- I pack stuff for the tailgate.
8:20 am -- I tell Ned he needs to pack the cooler.
8:25 am -- I feed Jack.
8:30 am -- I tell Ned he needs to pack the cooler.
8:45 am -- Ned packs the cooler and the car. I pull the last of the cookies from oven.
9:00 am -- I dress Bear and Zoe in Hokie apparel.
9:05 am -- Ned announces that he wants to start tailgating ASAP and he jumps in the shower.
9:15 am -- Still looking for orange hair ribbons for the girls.
9:30 am -- Ned is dressed and he, Catt, Zoe, and Bear leave for the tailgate.
9:35 am -- I hop in the shower.
10:00 am -- Phone call from Ned. Please bring his coat and gloves. Also please bring Catt's coat.
10:15 am -- I get Jack ready.
10:20 am -- Phone call from Ned. Please bring hats, gloves, and winter coats for Samantha and Zoe.
10:30 am -- Give Jack a bottle.
10: 40 am -- Load all the things in the car that Ned forgot, including the donuts.
11:00 am -- Arrive at tailgate.
11:25 am -- Bear and Zoe have meltdowns because I tell Bear she cannot have a diet Dr. Pepper. This lasts 10 or so minutes and includes a timeout session.
11:39 am -- I depart the tailgate with Jack.
Not too relaxing, eh?

The game itself was very relaxing. Jack and I sitting on the sofa covered with a blanket. And the Hokies won!The girls had a good time at the game and were exhausted upon returning home.
