"You can call us Aaron Burr from the way we're droppin' Hamiltons."
The title of this post reminds me of one of favorite SNL skits. It's one of those digital shorts by Chris Parnell and Andy Samberg also called "Lazy Sunday." Check it out:

I love it. It's so funny and clever.
Ned came back from men's ACCs in the middle of the night and we woke up to a light snow. Probably not enough to shut down anything, but enough to keep us from going to the 8:45am church service. We did, however, make it to brunch. It really is so much easier than cooking and it's nice to kind of knock out breakfast and lunch at one time.
The VT men finished 5th at ACCs. Ned seems ok with the result. Plus, one of his freshman swimmers made the "A" cut for NCAAs and will be going to the big meet. Which means Ned will be gone the last two weeks of this month for both women's and men's NCAAs.
We were beyond lazy today and it was nice. All four of us took naps-- Bear and me and Daddy and Jack. I got the better end of that deal because Bear is a much better napper. You really need days like that. But it's time to get back to the real world and tasks. I'm going to finish "Mr. Darcy's Daughters." And until I make some major progress on all the other ongoing projects in my life, I'm not going to allow myself to start another book.
Love,
Allie
